The x40 kits are meant for speciality applications which run any combination high compression and/or forced induction etc., which require the primary ignition coil voltages to exceed 40kV. The X40U power modules include an additional 40kV of protection circuitry to work with the ultra high voltage discharge coils.

The x80 kits represent uncompromising performance. It has two independent channels that can fire plasma independently, or when the outputs are combined or 'bussed' it can pump a whopping 400 amps of peak power impulse into an ordinary spark - useful if you're igniting water! For high revving race engines, channel 1 can be made to amplify the sparks for the odd firing order cylinders, and channel 2 for the even firing cylinders. This way, the peak power amperage of 200 amps is maintained even at the highest RPMs.

The x60 wastespark kits finally offer a simple way to convert an otherwise intractible ignition system - the wasted spark ignition coil pack, into a high energy plasma ignition system. It has two independent channels that fire plasma simultaneously in two cylinders, one firing a positive spark and one firing a negative spark. The kits include positive and negative ignition cables, which need to be installed carefully as mismatching them can cause the diode circuitry in the cables to fail. Please refer to the manual to determine the polarity of your existing cylinder wires as they are fired by the wastespark coil pack. Having a spark tester and some high voltages diodes is highly recommended.
